****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** Good morning crew and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves.com for the Sunday Session and the run down on todays surfing and weather conditions around Bali.
Yesterday was another wright off day surfwise here in Bali with wave height taking a further whack in wave height and not leaving us too many options for surfing. Unless of course for the learners with perfect opportunities to get wet. .
This morning when I went down for the 7.30am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban wave height is still micro sized and nothing happening between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. But if you were extremely keen you could always find a little waist to chest high something down at Uluwatu. As I mentioned in the swell forecast last week we should start to see a bump in wave height late this afternoon. So hopefully by tomorrow morning it’ll be all systems go !
Tide wise we have a 0.5mtr Low around 8.30am and then she’ll run back in for a 1.7mtr High around the 2.30pm mark.
Weather wise it’s a perfect day for the holiday crowd with nothing but blue sky and light ESE-SSE wind.
G-Land ; thanks to the G-land Surf Camp and resident surf photographer John Hepler for sending us some new photos from G-land. And you can take a look at those on the G-Land page under the report section. You can also drop us an email if you want to cash in on the 10% discount offer at the G-Land surf camp
Swell Forecast ; (3rd -10th) Lets just hope the forecasters have got it wrong. Currently the charts are calling for small to micro sized waves for the remainder of this week. Then sometime around Sunday things will be getting back to normal for Bali with a moderate swell arriving. It’s also looking good for another swell behind that one. So all in all, not much happening for rest of this week but next week it will be on everywhere !
Mentawai Islands ; the crew from both the Kandui Surf Resort and Macaroni’s have sent us through some new reports and photos so if your interested in seeing whats been happening up in that region of Indonesia check out both those surf reports in our report section.
