****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** Howdy crew and thanks for stopping by to see whats happening surf and weather wise here on your holiday island of Bali.
Sorry about not getting you any new images to look at yesterday but Dewa Made decided to go surfing instead of shoot video. And I can’t really blame him after being in Australia for the last 3 months. But the feed back he brought home was of small waves in the 1-2ft+ sector and cross-shore wind at Serangan and at Secrets.
Today after my visit to the doctor I got my rider to stop off down at the beach for a look at the Outer Reefs. Wave height has boosted over night and now showing in the 2-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. But I don’t think there will be too many surfers in the water along the West Coast with the wind strong on-shore out of the West @ 8-12knot.
Tide wise today we had a 1.4mtr High @ 6.00Am then there will be a 0.8mtr Low around the 11.00Am mark and then another 2.1mtr High around 6.00Pm to finis off with.
Looking for a wave today the East Coast is the best place to look. Wave height should creep up a touch more through out the afternoon so there will be plenty of options unless the wind swings further around to the South like it did yesterday.
Weather wise we had some heavy rain fall through the earlu hours, but that has cleared away to leave a mostly clear sky but with the chance of more rain later this evening. Heading for a maximum temperature of around 31 degree’s Celsius coupled with high humidity.
Also don’t forget to check out the new surf reports and photos from the Mentawai Islands and from Australia’s Super Bank on the Gold Coast .
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Tuban you’ll find that 1AU$=Rp7,850 and 1US$=Rp10,999 give or take 100Rupiah depending on vender.
Other than that little lot, we hope you all have a great day, even if your not here on the happy little holiday island of Bali.
Don’t forget you can drop us an email through the “Contact” link if you have any questions that might help your next vist to the holiday island run a bit smoother.
