Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
ok here’s another fresh photo collection that we shot yesterday down around the Southern end of the island at yet another one of our favorite locations in Bali. But then again there arn’t too many surfing locations that are not part of our favorites. After 24+ years of surfing around Bali and most of Indonesia you do get to sample a few different waves.
As it shows in this gallery wave height was pushing the 2-4ft+ class with some clean off shore wind. The early session was the best while the tide was on the bottom of the low and the crowd down to 8 surfers spread from the point to the end section (300mtrs). But as the tide rolled in and the mid morning ticked on the numbers did jump sharply. But our crew had already had a double session by then anyway.
Today the 26th and wave height has dropped down a step or two and in the 2-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The off shore ESE Trade wind has been blowing since early this morning. Middle Reef was picking up the half decent bigger set waves on this mornings low tide.
Weather wise it’s been a mostly hot and sunny day here on the holiday island and right now at 3.40am the temperature is still a warm 30C, Humidity is at 54% and UV index on 3. Wind direction is ESE with gusts up to 25km/h.
