BALI / INDONESIA
30th – 31st August 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
We had another long day of driving and surfing some perfect waves yesterday the 30th so we never got time to load up any photos or reports except for our Twitter Bali morning surf & weather update. So here’s a buch of photos that we shot yesterday between waves. It was a top day both weather and surf wise. As it shows wave height was pushing into nand occasionally past the double head high class. Surfing conditions remained clean and glassy through the ESE Trade wind kicked in around 10.30am.
Today the 31st and with wave height dropping away yesterday afternoon we just ducked down to the Southern end of the island for some nice and easy waves at one of our fav locations. Wave height was in the 2-3ft class with a few over head set waves and the ESE Trade wind gearing right up with some strong gusts up to 35-40km/h. Crowd wise it was nice and light early but as the morning crept on so did the crowd come.
Weather wise it’s been a perfect dcay except for the strong off shore wind. Right now at 3.00pm the temp is still on 28C, Humidity is at 65% and UV index on 4. Wind is a very gusty ESE.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is calling similar sized waves through the morning and hopefully a little less wind. Then maybe we might see a fresh swell start to appear through the afternoon bumping back some size.
