BALI / INDONESIA
16th – 17th October 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Alright so yesterday the 16th as I mentioned in the morning surf and weather up date in our Twitter feed there were some ok options available around the island if you knew where to look on the low end of the tide. But me I had to do normal human stuff yesterday like clean the yard, wash the car, pick up the kids from school etc but my high light was cooking my first ever lasagna and it came out almost bloody perfect, right down to the cheese sauce.
Today the 17th how ever it was game on ! As it shows in this current photo gallery we were chasing some right handers for a change, well seeing as though the season is apon us anyway. Some solid set waves pushing the 6ft range but the in betweeners were producing some long and clean tube riders for those who could. Quite a solid crowd in the water but only a handful of shredders in control. I’d say right up and down the East Coast would have been going off on the run in tide this morning.
Weather wise it’s been a nice and warm summers day here on the holiday island of Bali. Right now at 3.00pm the temperature is still a warm 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 64% and UV index at 7. Wind direction was a light Northerly early before dedicating to the E-ESE, currently gusts up to 24km/h.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is saying to expect wave height to be tapering off slowly through out the day. Wind wise, light and variable early before some more of that good ESE Trade wind by mid morning.

Here’s another thing that might interest some of the ex-pats with young children living here in Bali that might be interested in having their kids learn to play a musical instrument (drums, guitar, base guitar or piano) instead of just playing games on phones. Sound interesting then send us an email today and get your children into music. Contact us for more information
