BALI / INDONESIA
6th – 7th February 2020
Welcome surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Yesterday the 6th and we were being pretty hopeful taking a run over to the East Coast in regards to wave size. As it turned out surfing conditions were perfect with light and clean off shore wind. But with wave height only lucky to be in the 1-2ft range with a very very occasional slight bigger freak set. Perfect size for the grommets though and they were all over it frothing.
Today the 7th and with the chance of a touch more size, I do mean a touch BTW and an early morning light NNW wind we took a run up the coast to Late’s. With the tide still running in at 6.30am there were some fun little peaks breaking along the stretch and only a few in the water at the time.
Weather conditions had some early morning cloud in our area while down on the bukit we watched a big thunder storm roll through almost all the way to the airport. Light NNW wind early before swinging briefly to the SE and then dedicating to the W – WSW
Alright that’s it for today and here’s to everyone having an easy going, wave filled weekend. Stay tuned to the baliwaves if you need to know the latest news on Bali’s surfing scene ok.
