BALI / INDONESIA
21st February 2020
Hello surfers (KEEP READING BELOW) and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Rightio and here’s another solid photo gallery that we shot this morning over on the East side of the rock. There was already plenty of water over the reef when I turned up, but the wind already lightish out of the South and on shore. I do have to say the 1000mm lens does make it look pretty clean, but remember I am a fairly patient photographer at times. Wave height was only in the 2-3ft range for the best of it with a rare over head set. Looked pretty hard to get a wave to yourself with a lot of overseas kids out there frothing their brains out, and totally understandable.
Weather wise it was 90% grey and overcast most of the morning and still that way now at 4.19pm. Temperature wise it’s been mild for Bali standards but still just your board shorts and tee shirt dress code. Wind direction is coming out of the W-WSW with gusts up to 20knt.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is saying to expect smaller waves and to keep dropping off through out the day. The wind is also going to come into play, fresh WNW early getting fresher through out the day.
baliwaves is happy to welcome aboard The luxurious Manduna Resort located on the pristine island of Rote and known for some very perfect waves. So we should be seeing more of what is on offer at the Manduna Resort in the very near future.
