Hello crew and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves ! First up here are a few of the photos we shot yesterday over on the East Coast. Conditions over there were clean and glassy early but Ketut reckoned it wasn’t long before the wind switched to the WSW and increase in strength taking the gloss off the waves.
This morning the 11th and our 6.45am surf check on the Outer reefs was showing a few little waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport left. Wave height was only in the 2-2ft+ range or waist to head high with Middle Reef picking up the bigger sets with the tide just coming off the bottom of the Low tide. Wind direction was only light and variable out of the Western quadrant at 1-3knts.
Looking for a wave this morning the best bet would be over on the East Coast as the tide starts pushing back in and I imagine there would still be some solid waves hitting the better known locations.
The next tide today will be a 2.1mtr High at 12.46pm
Weather wise outside now at 9.08am has grey cloud cover in and obscuring the early morning blue sky we had briefly. It’s still a nice and warm 29C with the humidity at 73%. The wind is still and variable coming out of the Western quadrant. Just now at 9.15am the wind is starting to pick up in strength a little more.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast has the models putting out pretty much the same as what’s out there today.

Ok friends, that’s us for today and sorry but Ketut and I have some boat repairs (painting outriggers) to get onto today so hopefully the rain will hold off for us. But we will be out getting some waves tomorrow so stay tuned for more news and best vies from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination.
