Hello Bali people and thanks again for your support here on the original Bali surf report website by surfers for surfers since 1999. Well no movie super stars in today’s photos sorry. But hey if you know any coming to Bali get them to drop me a line ok hehe. No, today we are basically back to doing our best to showcase the local surfing talent here in Bali as we always have, locals first right. So, these photos were shot yesterday at.. Berawa, around 10.00am. Yesterday we were lucky to have a nice light Northerly wind so if you were on the ball you would have known. Going by the number of surfers in the water it wasn’t just us that’s for sure. But we did get lucky and there were some nice waves on offer as it shows in this gallery.
Weather wise today the 4th and it has been mostly hot and sunny, as we keep inching our way forward towards Bali’s famous “Dry Season”. Right now at 3.40pm the temperature is still a warm 31C with the humidity at 75%. Wind direction has been fresh out of the West and still is now at 24km/h.
Tomorrow’s tides will deliver a 9.50am 2.0mtr High tide and then followed by a 0.8mtr Low at 3.31pm.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for another slight decrease in wave height and calling for the wind to be more gusty out of the WNW early tending more to the W-WSW by midday.
Ok folks just a quick one today as I need to get down the beach and eye ball the swell for tomorrow’s mission over to the East Coast. Thanks again and drop me a line if your heading this way this year and we will do our best to help out. Likewise if you have an old GoPro camera you could donate to our cause please contact me on this link.
Just a tip that can help to make sure you have a good time out in the water (any surf is a good surf right). If you find your self having accidently drop in on a local you had better be quick with your apology, quite often that’s all it will take to sooth the situation. If a local also drops in on you don’t freak out ! it’s only a wave and try to put yourself in their position with the current crowds. Just try complimenting or having a laugh with the surfer it will go down a lot better and earn you some cred. If you lose control and start swearing and dropping the “F” word I can assure you at the very least you will be in no polite way told to leave the water. Just a heads up cause we want you all to have good vibes in the water here in Bali.
If anyone of our regulars has an old GoPro at home they would like to donate to us at baliwaves we would be forever grateful. I did have a GoPro 7 but last year the rubber seal covering the on/off button perished and is now not water tight.
