Hello awesome people and thanks for checking into the original Bali surf report website and infact the first surfing website 2nd website on line in all of Indonesia. Just for the record.
Just a quicky this Sunday arvo crew as I need to get down the beach for some low tide boat maintenance in the very near future. But as I mentioned this morning on our baliwave FB platform Ketut was down at Balangan through the run in tide earlier today. As it shows in the photos there were some shapely waves and views down there as usual. Wave height was only in the 3-4ft with maybe 1 or 2 slightly bigger freak sets. I was a great day for the beach, especially the cliff protected Balangan beach and according to our man there was not a single deck chair unoccupied by late morning. You can see in some of the photos just strong the ESE-SE Trade wind was blowing.
Weather wise it was perfect, just a little windy around mid morning.
The next tide today will be a 0.12mtr Low around 7.00pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast has the wave models predicting a further drop in wave height before we see (fingers crossed) a new swell hit us on the 8-9th. Wind wise tomorrow we can expect more gusty ESE-SE wind.
We will be heading out again in the morning so stay tuned right here peeps.
Just a head’s up for all the scooter riders enjoying the wind in your face scooting around Bali. Please take care and make sure you stay over on the left hand shoulder of the road. The last few days I have seen too many accidents involving scooters. This morning we witnessed a public bus driving so erraticly it was criminal as he swerved in and out of lanes. In a public bus just out of Sanur on the Bypas road (Bus Number D5B) he tried to swerve around a scooter only to clip the bike and send the bike and rider cartwheeling along the road. We stopped and help the poor guy get his wrecked bike off the road. The bus just kept going. We caught up with the bus driver but he wouldn’t stop, he knew what he had done for sure. It’s a jungle out there on these roads it appears.
