Hello awesome people and thanks for checking into the original Bali surf report website and in fact the first surfing website 2nd website on line in all of Indonesia. Just for the record.
Yesterday the 9th, as I mentioned yesterday on our team taking a short run up the West coast to The Gu. So here is a handful of photos from that session. I was stoked to see the young ladies out there getting their equal share of the waves. That was a big feat with some big name local surfers also out there hunting. It’s a bit of a pity that the sun wasn’t out for the whole session as it shows in a few of the images. I also have to say that there were some super deep and round barrels being ridden.
This morning the 10th and we were back out there chasing the dawn on the black sand. Arriving to an empty line up and 3-4ft waves. It was a little fat with the tide still a touch full, but no complaints were heard, just the sound of wax being scrubbed onto boards. The wind was off shore and the waves did continue to improve over the next couple of hours. Our solo session lasted an hour before a group of 11 turned up. But there were enough waves to go around and stoke out all.
Weather wise today it’s been another beauty. Right now at 3.00pm it’s just as it was on the dawn with nothing but blue sky here in South Kuta. Bali just keeps delivering the perfect holiday weather. Currently the temp is on 28C with the humidity at 66%. Wind direction is now ESE at 28km/h.
The next tide in Bali (Benoa) today will be a 1.5mtr High at 3.39pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast has the wave models showing a very slight drop in size but with the period remaining at 15 seconds and SW direction. The wind forecast is saying more light and variable wind early before dedicating to the SE by midday.
Ok that’s me for today but we will be doing it again tomorrow so stick with what you know works.
