G’day folks and thanks for checking out the baliwaves. Our Team sent us through a few more photos yesterday to back up the call of 2-4 footers. Nice and clean conditions down the coast yesterday with wind light and variable through until late morning.
Today the 27th and our Team must still be on the wave hunt as I haven’t heard any news as yet at 7.12am Bali time. But I’d be calling slightly smaller waves around the island this morning, going off the charts I’ve seen. The wave period for today is down to a 12 second period. Tomorrow we should see it jump back into the 16 second range with the start of a new swell showing.
Weather wise for Bali today the temp at 7.15am is already a nice warm 27C, humidity is at 100% and the wind is still light and variable predicted to dedicate E-ESE through out the day.
Tide wise we had an early morning Low before a 2.50mtr High at 12.02pm then a 0.07mtr Low at 6.41pm
Just a quick up date on Slim before I hit the road. So far I’ve had 3 full radiation treatments with another 3 to go. The second one almost got to me but the 3rd I’ve been able to manage with pain killers. The actual radiation treatments are done by inserting a catheda into me all the way to my bladder and then injecting the magic radiation poison into my system. It’s an uncomfortable.. procedure but it’s 10 times worse after passing the stuff back out and then 10 times worse again when the “stuff” starts to work inside me.
I also been having problems with my right eye the last 6 months so while I’m here I thought I’d get both checked, first time ever in my life. Bingo, 2 cataracts and one that is blinding me. So it’s not over until the fat lady sings apparently. I just need to be able to cover the surgery costs under private patient… or wait 12-18 months for the free Public system. Catch 22. Anyway I’ve got the weekend off before my 4th session at the urology Out Patients and the sun is out so I’m outta here.
