Legian Surf Report – Tuesday 28th July 2026
Ketut headed down to Legian for a quick shoot around 8 this morning and found the beach break sitting at a small 2 foot with the odd slightly bigger one on the sets. The wind was offshore early which kept the faces clean and tidy, and there were only a couple of surfers out spread along the bank, so anyone keen had plenty of waves to pick from.
It has been a bit all over the place the last couple of days with rain through the mornings and a fair bit of wind about, so a clean little morning at Legian was a welcome change. Ketut mentioned the tide was still filling in while he was there, and the extra water helped the small peaks line up a touch better as the morning went on. Nothing too major out there, but for a beach break close to town it was a fun and easy option to grab a few.
Weather & Tides
Out there today it was sitting around 22C with the water a similar 23C, and the offshore wind kept things clean early before the local sea breeze looked likely to swing onshore later in the morning. On the tides today there was an early low at 3:53am before the water filled in to a high around 10:11am, which was the better part of the morning for shape. It drains back to a low near 4:51pm before the next high late in the evening, so the earlier fill was the pick for the little banks.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead there is a bit more size on the way, with Wednesday and Thursday both filling in around 5 foot before easing back to the 4 to 5 foot range on Friday. Winds look variable over those days so the early mornings should still be the cleanest before any local wind builds. For the full run of numbers have a look at the swell forecast and pick your window.
