Keramas Surf Report – Monday 7th September 2026
Ketut was back over on the East Coast at Keramas from 7am til 10am this morning and reported wave height sitting in the 3 to 4 foot range with some bigger ones coming through on the better sets. Wind was offshore right through that window which kept the faces clean and tidy across the reef. Crowd wise it was a bit busy with around 25 to 30 surfers out, so you had to spread yourself along the reef a bit if you wanted a decent wave count.
It was not the clearest morning with cloudy skies overhead and a bit of rain about early, though Ketut mentioned that did nothing to the surfing conditions with the offshore holding on. That offshore stayed with it until about 10am before it started to back off. As the water filled in across the reef the waves lined up better through the middle of the check and the sets with a bit of size on them were the ones worth waiting for. The crowd built a little as the morning went on but it stayed manageable enough for anyone willing to move around.
Weather & Tides
Right now it is sitting around 24C with the water at about 25C, cloudy skies about and the odd bit of rain still coming through. On the tides today the water was filling in through the early part of the morning which helped the waves line up nicer across the reef. The next high is due around 9:20PM tonight before a quick low just after midnight around 12:45AM, then the tide fills again to a high around 7:35AM tomorrow morning which lines up well with an early check. From there it drains away to a low around 2:50PM in the afternoon.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead there is a decent bit of size on the way. Tuesday looks the biggest of the run with 6 to 7 foot on the cards, then it eases back to 5 to 6 foot on Wednesday with a longer period behind it, and around 5 foot holding into Thursday. So there will be plenty of waves getting through over the next few days, it is more about finding the window when the wind behaves itself. Early mornings should still be the best call before the local wind builds through the day. Worth a look at the swell forecast for the full picture.
