****MIDDAY SURF UP-DATE****
Hello to everyone logging into the baliwaves for our Sunday Session run down on todays surfing aqnd weather conditions here on every surfers favourite surfing holiday island of Bali. And we can all thank Hendra and his crew from down at Uluwatu for these current photos.
Well this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban wasn’t looking that good with only 1-2 footers breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport left. Plus the wind direction was coming lightly out of the NW and on-shore. But when I went back down for another peak around lunch time it looked completely different, for the better. Kuta Reef was peeling off some nice waves in the chest to head high plus range. The wind had also shifted back around to the SSE-SE, so surfing conditions were clean and tidy. Middle Reef should also have a few in the head to head high plus class later this afternoon as the tide drops out more. I’m sure there’ll also be plenty of waves for the crew down along the bukit this afternoon.
Tidal info for today has a 2.1mtr High @ 10.00AM and then will be running for a 0.4mtr Low @ 4.00PM.
Weather wise it’s been a just another very hot and sunny day here on the holiday island. Temperature wise I reckon the mercury must have peaked around 35 degree’s Celsius.
Ok crew Slim is going to be heading South tonight for a couple of weeks in Australia (holiday). But we will still be posting our Bali surf and weather reports + photos as often as we can.
If it’s clean safe and friendly accommodation here in Tuban only 300mtrs back from the Outer Reefs, including A/C, hot water, refridgerator & TV for US$15.00 (Rp150,000) per night (single) or US$18.00 (Rp180,000) for a couple and US$25.00 (Rp250,000) twin share. Then drop me an email but usually we do need a few weeks notice.
G-Land we are offering you a 5% discount on all standard packages and 10% on air conditioned packages at the G-Land Surf Camp. And from all report’s I’ve heard of late, right now is an ideal time to get over there and score some un-crowded waves
