Afternoon Report.
Selemat Sore or Good Afternoon from Baliwaves
Well after a light wind this morning it did eventually puff up pretty strong outa the SE and some clean offshore conditions occurred. The swell has dropped somewhat to about 3ft on the Middle reefs here at Tuban and we hope something hangs in there for tommorrow, I’m sure it will. The boys all did get some decent waves throughout the day and reports from afew guys who headed down to Uluwatu say some real nice quality 4 footers running across the reef down there as well.
The weather as always was nice and warm around 30c and water temp in the low 20’s, alround pretty much perfect. Things are starting to get busy and warmed up for the annual KUTA KARNIVAL with all types of happenings to occur in a coupla weeks time. For those who are heading this way, well you are in for a treat as it will be great atmosphere alround and a million things to see and do.
After being outa the water for a week it will be good to get in tommorrow. You must look after all cuts and abrasions no matter how small they are, I paid the price for not doing so. Never Again.
Hoping tommorrow will bring us another day in paradise with some waves and good times, that will pretty much assured as it is Bali. I will keep updated tommorrow morning and let you all know whats going down here. Stay Tuned.
Keep Surfing. Part of Life.
Regards From The Happy Isle.

Good Morning To All
Well this mornings wave and weather check reveals another beautiful day and wave height of 2 to 3feet at Middle Reef and a crew of surfers on it as well as Kuta. Although conditions are smooth the wind seems to be lightly puffing from the SW but for the early birds quite a few good waves were to be had. Currently we have high tide which has filled up this smaller swell and a patient wait between sets seems to be the order.
I do reckon there would be some great fun to be had on the beachbreaks which looks to be peeling each way in peaks all along the whole beach as far as the eye can see. Down the coast at Uluwatu there would be some great waves on The Peak on the morning tide I’m sure.
On these smaller lay days there is still so much to see and do here in Beautiful Bali so stay tuned or better still jump on board a metal bird and wing your way up, you will be made welcome by one and all.
The current money exchange rate for the Dollar is 9000rupiah for US$ and 6850rupiah for the Aussie$.
Keep Surfing. It Is Part of Life.

Please if ya can help out baliwaves with a dollar or two we would certainly appreciate it, ( I certainly would..) I really wanna be able to do a lot more helping out with the less fortunate folk around Bali and Indo but first I need to make sure that baliwaves.com keeps it’s head above the high tide line, if ya know what I mean. Right now I’m just doing it, but my credit card is just about maxed out in the red. To tell ya the truth, I don’t want more than I need to get by. I’ve been borrowing cars for the last 8 years to get you guys the material that gets ya stoked. This isn’t an anual thing by the way, it’s just baliwaves.com asking for a helping hand at times of need.
Why don’t ya send us an email if ya have any questions that might help your next Indo surfing holiday run that bit smoother. Discounts into G-Land. How to get over to Lakey Peak. Likewise if your looking for a cheap, clean and 100% surfer friendly place to home base at here in Bali.
