**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers and thanks for taking the time to drop into some baliwaves today. Well I’ve done my bit so far, I was down checking on surfing conditions on the Outer Reefs around 6.30am. The tide was still way out from the 0.1mtr Low that went down @ 6.00am but it looked like wave height has kicked up another 6 inches or so and breaking in the 1-2ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airports. Middle Reef looked surfable with the odd shoulder high freak set and better suited to the lower end of the tide. Kuta Reef and Airports were breaking perfectly in the 1ft+ range (knee to waist high) and would probably be ok if you only weighed 30kgs and was riding a 9ft mal. The next High tide will be a 1.9mtr @ high noon and I don’t think there’ll be too many waves breaking out there when that fills in. The beach breaks of “Half Way Kuta” through to Padma St would be my choice for a paddle around the top of the tide. Wind direction is clean and true outta the ESE @ 2-3knot and straight off-shore between Legian and Uluwatu. Weather wise outside (7.30am) we’ve got nothing but blue sky an we’re gunna be in for another very hot day. If your not down at the beach that is ! I’d also like to thank the surfers at www.naturalfooted.com on their return too baliwaves.com. These guys have a great product that every travelling surfer will more than likely need at some stage, first aid kits. While I’m at it, if anyone out there has a good product that’s made for travelling surfers you should drop me an email and we’ll help ya target your market. This year we had a heap of drama’s with the running of baliwaves.com and we were still managing to attract 70,000 unique viewers per month and up ta 20,000 page views per day. I think we’ve got a good product ! So drop us a line. Ok ok, small waves around Bali again today but I’m sure ya could find something to keep ya smiling ! Have a good one what eva ya got happening today and drop back later this afternoon for the wrap up on how it was in Bali today. Now’s a good time to start organising your friends for your next indonesian surfing adventure.
