****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (’99) for today’s “1 click” run down on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the with out a doubt best value for surfing holiday dollar destination of Bali.
This mornings 7.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking like there was some nice fun sized waves out there in the waist to head high plus sector (re; this mornings twitter report). Even though the tide was still running down there was enough water on Kuta Reef to have it lining up and peeling off for a good 75mtrs plus. Middle Reef should improve towards the bottom end of the tide as well. Airport Left was only picking up wiast to waist high plus waves.
Surfing condiitons out there at the time were clean and glassy with the wind coming lightly out of the North @ 1-3knot.
I was speaking to Tim Hain of the ISC this morning and he has reassured us that the Oakley Pro Junior will be running at Keramas (East Coast Bali). kicking off around 9.30 – 10.00AM. So if your here in town and you want to catch the World’s top junior surfers in action start making your way over there now. NB: baliwaves.com is proud to be media partners with the ISC, and we’ll be heading over there around kick off time. so expect us to be loading you up with more fresh photos from today’s action from the Oakley Pro Junior later this afternoon.
Tidal info for today has us scheduled in for a 0.6mtr Low @ 9.00Am and then filling back in with a 1.6mtr High around the 3.00PM mark.
Weather wise today we have an overcast start to the day with high and light cloud cover. temperature wise right now at 9.00AM the mercury is sitting on 26 degree’s Celsius with the Humidity on 64%. Wind direction is now out of the NW @ 2-4knot.
Today’s 100 strong photo gallery is a combo of perfection from Uluwatu (Hendra Surf Photography) and Bingin, from our friends at ESP (Julies Warung).
