Bali Surf Report – August 26 2007

MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy surfers and thanks for tuning for the baliwaves.com Sunday Session. Just firstly I better let ya’s know that these current images we have on display are frame grabs from the digital video footage Dewa captured down at Uluwatu and Padang Padang on Saturday the 25^th (while I was out surfing at Middle’s). This morning’s 6.45am surf recon of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban wasn’t looking too good, surf wise anyway. Wave height has backed right off again and down to 1-1ft+ between Kuta Reef and Airport Left . The tide was still creeping in for 2.1mtr High set for around 9.00am so it’ll probably go flat city when she hits the top. I’d say if you were still desperate for a paddle you’d be best off having a look up along the beach breaks in the Kuta to Legian stretch of sand. Or maybe you could find some waist to shoulder high (at best) waves down at Uluwatu . The wind was light off-shore coming outta the East @ 2-4knot but will go to Tradewind strength and swing more to the ESE-SE as the morning progresses. Weather wise we got a real good beach day coming on and if I had the time I’d be heading down to Padang Padang or maybe even Dreamland for a, ….swim. Ok not much else happening around these parts so I’m gunna chop ya’s up another video clip from Ulu and Padang Padang yesterday, but be warned there may be some bare breasts in it. Then I’m gunna throw a few more photos into the Surfing Gallery for August , so take a look in there while you’re here.
