Bali Surf Report – September 5 2007

MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves Daily Surf Report . Well the swell is at last starting to back off but by no means left us yet. I went down to chck out surfing conditions on the Outer Reefs at 6.45am . Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Lefts was still rolling through in the 2-4ft range. The tide was still falling for a 0.7mtr Low due around 9.30am so the best waves were happening on Middle Reef @ 3-4ft . Even so there were still surfers out in the line up at Kuta Reef and Airport Left. As the tide fills back in for a 1.5mtr High through mid afternoon KR and AL should have some fun sized head to head high plus action. Earlier this morning the wind was coming lightly outta the West and it was kinda weird to smell that on-shore wind. It’s been a while. Then sometime around 9.00am the ESE-SE Tradewind kicked in making it clean off-shore, currently she’d be in the 10-15knot range. Weather wise it’s another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island, heading for top temperature of around 32 degree’s Celsius . So with all that info you’d be able to find plenty of waves all the way down to the southern end of the island, from Kuta Reef to Uluwatu . It looks like this swell system is finally on the way out but I’m thinking we should be scoring another new one around Thursday / Friday, just no end to it hey. What I’ve finally done for ya’s is finished editing the VIDEO that Dewa Made shot down at Padang Padang a couple of days ago. 4 clips in all and there’s some sick barrels involved.
