Bali Surf Report – September 12 2007

MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves.com, for the rundown on surfing and weather conditions around Bali today. So this morning when I went for the morning surf recon there was still some waves breaking on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. Wave height was ranging between 2-4ft from Kuta Reef down to Airport Left. The tide was on the run up for a 2.3mtr High set for 11.00am and the wind coming outta the NNW @ 2-5knot . But the Tradewind should kick in through mid morning and tidy up surfing conditions. Kuta Reef had some fun sized waist to head high waves and there were half a dozen or so surfers out there playing. Middle Reef was looking the best at 2-3ft+ and there was a small crew out there. Airport Left was breaking consistently in the shoulder to head high range and not looking too bad at all. Weather wise it’s a beautiful day shaping up for the beach lovers, blue sky and sunshine. I’ve loaded these current photos that were taken at Canggu yesterday by my friend Scott Thompson. Ok you’d be able to find some surf at most locations around Bali today, so take ya pick and wait for the right tide phase. I’m hitting the road this morning for the mountains but I’ll be looking for some internet access over the next couple of days to keep ya’s in the loop with whats happening over here.
