****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Good morning surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves for the daily run down on todays surfing and weather conditions from your friendly little holiday island of Bali.
My 6.30am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height in the 1-1ft plus range (no change) between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. No surfers in the water but if you were super keen there was the occassional waist high set wave hitting Middle Reef.
Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with just a slight hint off off-shore ESE in the wind.
Tidal info we had a 0.3mtr Low to start the ball rolling at 6.00am and then another 2.6mtr High set for just after midday.
Weather wise we have another classic day coming on for the lucky people here on holidays, blue sky and sunshine will be the order for the day. Temperature wise we can expect the mercury to bust into the low 30’s on the Celsius scale.
Looking for a wave I’d be heading back down to Uluwatu for the best size and power, or if you were feeling lazy you could go and hit the beach breaks up along the Kuta to Legian stretch of sand. If you could find a spot without a learn to surf school on it…
Up-dates; Scotto has handed over some photos that he shot from out in the water down at Uluwatu yesterday and you can find those on the Readers Report page. Mark from the Macaroni Surf Resort in the Mentawai islands has also sent us through a report and some photos and you’ll find that on the Macaroni Surf Report page.
Just a reminder dept; feel free to drop us an email if you need some info on making your next visit to Bali run a bit smoother. And we also still have a lot more material to be loaded onto our new site so hang in there and soon enough we’ll be back to full strength on the baliwaves.
Ok folks make the most of your Monday and we’ll be back again tomorrow with more surf and weather info for ya’s
