****MIDDAY SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves.com for the start of anothr surfing week here on the happy little holiday island of Bali. And I’d have to say we’ve got our hopes up for some good waves and weather for the later part of the week.

This mornings surf check of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to have bounced back a touch, just a touch ming you, with wave height in the 1-2ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Not much happening on Kuta Reef or on Middle Reef for that matter but there were a few small but shapely 2 footers breaking on Airport Left. I also had a sms report from Uluwatu around the same time saying that wave height was in the head high range down there.

Wind direction has been basically on-shore coming out of the W-WNW upto 7knots.

Tidal info we had a 1.8mtr High @ 10.00Am and then she’ll be running out for a 0.9mtr Low around 4.00Pm this afternoon.

As ya’s can see in these current photos I didn’t really have enough time to make the run down to Uluwatu so I just took the lazy option and ducked up to Padma St to check out some beach breaks in the Legian area. Wave height was breaking in the 1-2ft class (knee to shoulder high) but mainly just closing out due to the middish range High tide. But there were still 12-15 surfers in the water making the most of todays conditions.

Weather wise it’s been hot and sunny from the start with the outside temperature currently sitting around the 32 degree Celsius mark.

Up-dates; Scotto has sent us through another report from the Quicksilve Pro down on Australia’s Gold Coast along with some photos and I’ll get em on line for ya’s in the next hour or so. The boys and I from here at Home Base have also made some plans for the end of the week to make an “off-island” surf mission. So I’ll be sending through sms reports for Troy to up-load while we are away. I’ll also be shooting a tonne of photos and video for when we get back to Home Base Bali.
