****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for another week full of surfing and weather information live from the friendly little island of Bali. And this mornings photos are courtesy of our good friends down at Uluwatu Hendra Surf Photography.
Well we have had a good run of surf over the last week and all good things must come to an end sooner or later, but not for too long. So this mornings surf check on the Outer reefs was showing wave height to have dropped down into the 1-3ft range (knee to head high) between Kuta reef and Airport Left. With the 0.4mtr Low tide @ 7.00am this morning Middle Reef was the only option for the early risers and it wasn’t looking too bad with waves in the waist to head high class. Maybe around mid morning to midday Kuta Reef and Airport Left could have a few smallies, but nothing special.
Surfing conditions are clean and tidy with the wind coming lightly out of the ESE and off-shore @ 3-6knot. But more than likely will increase in strength by midday and swing more to the ESE-SE.
Tidal info for today is saying we had a o.4mtr Low @ 7.00am and then she’ll be running back up for a 2.3mtr High around 1.00pm.
Looking for a wave today, well Middle Reef here on the Outers was producing some nice little waves on the low tide. Maybe Bingin would have also had a few and down at Uluwatu the Racetrack section. As the tide runs back in Balangan and the Main peak at Ulu would be the places to find the best size and power along the West Coast. Also down along the beach breaks of Kuta on the top of the tide you will find a wave or two.
Sms surf report from over at lakey peak on the island of Sumbawa was saying wave height has also backed off a touch but still breaking in the chest to head high plus range on the Peak.
Sms surf report from the G-land Surf Camp was saying wave height also down in the head to head high plus range with the best waves on Kongs and the top end of Money Tree’s.
Weather wise here in Tuban this morning we have a good looking day for the beach coming on with nothing but blue sky and sunshine on tap. Heading for a top temperature of around 30 degree’s celsius.
New Video Clip, I should have the new footage I shot up at Keramas the other day on-line for ya’s in another hour or so. So, if there’s not much happening in the office this afternoon make sure you watch it.
G-land; Ok the 10% discount for the early bookings into the G-Land Surf Camp has finished but I’ve spoken with the boss and he’s still prepared to give anyone who mentions baliwaves.com a 5% discount on standard, twin share and fan bungalows and a 10% discount on their air conditioned bungalows. Just mention baliwaves.com at their office and you’ll get money back in your pocket.
And don’t forget to drop me a line if your looking for some surfer friendly accommodation here in Tuban / Bali (the quiter end of town). Right here at Home Base we have single rooms for US$15.00, US$18.00 for couple’s & US$25.00 for a twin share room. All rooms have Air conditioning, hot and cold water, tv, refridgerator and large private bathroom. 300mtrs back from the beach in front of the Outer reefs here in Tuban.
Surf Board special offer; It just so happens a friend of mine here in Bali is holding 3 brand new boards, never ridden or even waxed and is offering them at a special price of AU$525.00. These aren’t back yard or pop out boards either made by one of the most reputable shapers in Australia. Sizes are 6’3″ & 6’6″ So if your after a high performance new board drop us an email and I’ll put you in touch.
Swell Prediction; Ok as I mentioned in last weeks swell prediction the last swell got us through Sunday and now starting to fade out today, Monday. The next few days are not going to be delivering anything too spectacular but around the 14th we start to see some action hitting Bali’s reefs that should climax on the 17th-18th with a World class performance at Padang Padang.
Ok friends that’s us for today but stay tuned into the original Bali surf report website for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions here in the true surfers paradise of Bali.

The photog’s you have send the photo’s deserve a thanks from one Joe average who is yet to see his face on a photo at home let alone in paradise.
