****MIDDAY SURF UP-DATE****
Howdy crew and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali. And another batch of fresh photos from our friends at Hendra Surf Photography down at Uluwatu.
This mornings surf recon of the Outer Reefs was showing wave height to still only be showing in the 2-2ft+ range between Kuta reef and Airport left. But the big difference today is that the wind is coming cleanly out of the E-ESE and straight off-shore between Kuta and Uluwatu. We had another 0.2mtr Low this morning around 7.00AM so Middle Reef was the only option at the time I was on the beach with ultra clean chest to head high set waves. Maybe Airport Left will have a few on the incoming tide, but not quite enough swell for Kuta Reef.
Looking for a wave today I’m sure you could find something happening down at Balangan on the incoming tide and of course Uluwatu would have the best size and power. You could probably even find a little beach break up along to Kuta to Padma st stretch of sand.
Surfing conditions (as mentioned) are perfect here along Bali’s South Western Coastline with clean E-ESE off-shore wind @ 7-10knot.
Tidal info for today said we had a 0.2mtr Low @ 7.00AM and then filling back in with a 1.9mtr High around 1.00PM.
Weather wise it’s all happening today, tonnes of blue sky and sunshine, heading for a maximum temperature of around 32 degree’s Celsius along the beach.
Sms surf report from the G-Land Surf Camp was saying that wave height is a solid 3-4ft+ hitting Money Tree’s in long lines. No one in the water at the time due to the morning low tide.
Bruce Hansel, I only just heard the news today that Bruce has just under gone some heart surgery from an attack he suffered earlier in the week here in Bali. Bruce is ok but he is struggling to pay for the operation and therapy. So if you know Bruce from down at Uluwatu and can offer any help, please do.
If it’s clean safe and friendly accommodation here in Tuban only 300mtrs back from the Outer Reefs, including A/C, hot water, refridgerator & TV for US$15.00 (Rp150,000) per night (single) or US$18.00 (Rp180,000) for a couple and US$25.00 (Rp250,000) twin share. Then drop me an email but usually we do need a few weeks notice.
G-Land we are offering you a 5% discount on all standard packages and 10% on air conditioned packages at the G-Land Surf Camp. And from all report’s I’ve heard of late, right now is an ideal time to get over there and score some un-crowded waves
We are also now sending out brief random surf reports and ravings through Twitter mobile phone service so sign up today !

Ok crew that’s me but stay tuned as we should be seeing plenty of waves here in Bali over the weekend.
Best Regards from Bali

I check your site everyday, along with my home break site back in the US (2ndlight.com). Noticed a connection in one of the posts, see below. It looks like CJ’s boards were pinched in France and one may have been posted in photo Baliwaves.com. Funny, when I saw the picture yesterday, I though “man that board in out of place, looks like a pro’s board”….ha/ha.
