****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hi folks and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (’99) for today’s run down on surfing and weather conditions from the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
This mornings 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was only showing wave height to be breaking in the waist to head high range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was already gushing in on the way up to a 2.6mtr High scheduled in for 10.00AM. But at the time there were still a few clean and fun waves on Middle Reef and few smallies on KR and AL. I don’t think there will be too much left when the tide tops out.
Phone through surf report from Canggu was saying that conditions were clean and glassy with the best waves (waist to head high) through the early session. Also getting a little too fat with the approaching high tide.
Looking for a wave this afternoon I’d be heading down to the southern end of the island to Bali’s premier location and wave magnet, Uluwatu. Or maybe I’ll just go fishing.
Today’s surf report from the G-Land Surf Camp was saying that wave height has also backed off over at the legendary location of G-Land. This morning the boys in camp have head to over head waves breaking from Kong’s down to the Pad.At 7.00AM East Java time there were 2 surfers in the water with clean and glassy surfing conditions.
The next Low tide will be a reef exposing 0.1mtr @ around the 5.00PM mark.
Weather wise it’s shaping up for another hot and sultry one here on the holiday island. Outside right now at 10.45Am the temperature would already be pushing 30 degree’s Celsius. Pretty well blue sky in all directions. What detectable wind there is out there is light and variable at this point in time, and will more than likely dedicate to the ESE anytime soon.
The body boarding sector out there may have already noticed I managed to load up a few waves for them. I’ll keep my eye’s open and try and keep you guys and girls in the loop as well.
