****MIDDAY SURF UP DATE****
Hi surfers and a big thank you for dropping by the baliwaves (’99) for today’s news on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Another windy and woolly start to the day here in Bali. At 5.00AM the wind was already howling out of the SSE @ 15-19knot, and by sun up had only just started to taper off. Seeing as though it was my current crew’s last day of surfing in Bali they decided they would like to take a chance and sneak up to Keramas for a morning paddle.
On the drive over the wind started to back off the closer we got to our destination, arriving to see semi glassy little waves in the 1-3ft sector. As you can see there were a few small fun sized waves on offer for the half a dozen surfers that were on the spot this morning. Unfortunately not long afterwards the wind went from almost zero to a strong 16-20knot Northerly by 9.30AM and pretty much put an end to the fun.
Tidal info for today has us down for a 2.0mtr High @ 7.30AM and then running out for a 0.7mtr Low around the 1.30PM mark.
Weather wise today it’s been a mixed bag, wind, cloud & rain for starters over on the East Coast of Bali. Then clearing up to be mainly hot and sunny. Currently right now @ 1.00PM the outside temperature is sitting on 29 degree’s Celsius & Humidity on 74%. Wind direction is coming hard out of the SE @ 16-19knot.
Today’s G-Land Surf Report from our friends over at the G-Land Surf Camp was calling wave height to be still hitting Kongs down to the bottom end of the Launching Pad in the head to well over head range. No surfers in the water at the time of this report, 8.00AM East Java.

m8, Next time you wanna head over to Keramas send me a sms and I’ll tell ya..I was gonna go at 6 but it wassmall and by 7 it was windy so i took a day off.. tmrw and friday look a bit bigger if the wind stays down.
