9th February 2012 Baliwaves (still..) On the Road Hello everyone and thanks again for dropping by Bali’s premier surf
report website, baliwaves (since ’99). Ok yes I know you’ve been
cursing Slim for not delivering any surf info or photos over the
last few days. So let me bring ya’s up to date on what’s happening. Hi crew and welcome back to the baliwaves and more than likely
hoping to see that Slim is back in Bali and that the baliwaves.com
is back to it's best again. Well nope, not just yet. I've got around
another 7 days to stick out before I get to head back to Home Base. However in the mean time Ketut has been continuing to search for
waves in my absence and has been back over on Bali's East Coast
at Keramas for a couple of sessions for today's photo gallery.
According to Ketut the last few days have seen some heavy rain
falling through the early mornings before heating up through
midday and early afternoon. Ok that's all for now but I think Ketut has already delivered
more photos to my "in box" so stay tuned and I'll load em up for ya's. Ok so what the hell is Slim doing in Australia. What he is doing
is after putting it off for the last 25 years he’s finally seeing
an ear specialist to get his ear bored out. After battling chronic
ear problems for the last of these year it’s just gotta be done.
When there’s something that’s keeping you out of the surf it’s
gotta be fixed and fast. Well, as fast as the system will allow.
So yeah, Slims just getting the examinations and paperwork taken
care of. But we will have Ketut keeping us all posted with the
news on surfing and weather conditons, so hang in there. So this is the reason we are running the camera program on
baliwaves. Slim only had enough money for one or the other and
the ear operation has become priority No.1 from a surfers
prospective. Lets get back on the… New Camera Program Who wants to help out baliwaves.com and have the chance to win
a brand new Diverse surfboard, 4 day all inclusive surf trip
to G-land (courtesy of the G-Land Surf Camp) or some free
accommodation with daily surf trips here in Bali, all at the
same time. CLICK ON THIS LINK NOW and get on the program with
us. 63 tickets left.
I surfed Bali in September, but I’m thinking of flying out from California in March, are there any waves in March? How does it compare to September?
