****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello again my fine friends and a big welcome back to the baliwaves (since ’99) for today’s news on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Right from the word go it was looking like it was going to be a hard deal for me today, to try and find some half decent waves. With the 6.45AN surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban looking real ugly. There were waist to head high lumps of howling on shore mush between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, and that’s all there was. I knew it would be smaller back over on the East Coast and not looking forward to the surf school scene that would be happening at Serangan. So me and my team headed to a different place, with our fingers crossed. And as you can see in today’s mini photo gallery there were some clean little waves, the numbers were also good. No other surfers in the water. But as usual, it wasn’t too much longer and a few more surfers turned up. Surfing conditions stayed clean and tidy through until around 11.30AM when the wind started gearing back up with a tinge of South in it.
Tidal info for today had a 1.6mtr High @ 8.30AM and then running out for a 1.0mtr Low around the 2.00PM position.
Weather wise we’ve been getting the shit kicked of us by abnormally strong winds with tree felling ferocity. Currently right now @ 3.40PM the outside temperature is sitting on 30 degree’s Celsius. Wind direction is West @ 25knots and expecting to go crazy again later this evening.
