Ok well lets get the weekend up to scratch and out of the way first. On Saturday the 1st of June my crew and I hit the road at 7.00AM for the East Coast and Keramas. Arriving at 7.45AM, at first we were stoked to not see any other cars in the car park, but then a little dissapointed to still find 14 surfers in the water when we hit the sand. Wave height as it shows in the latter half of today’s jumbo 123 strong photo gallery was pretty small as the tide hit the bottom of the low and the wind already light on shore. But as the tide started to push back in around lunch time most of the surfers drifted back to hang by the pool. But around the same time the tidal surge started delivering some clean 3 – 3ft+ set waves down on the car park section with only my crew in the water.

Yesterday the 2nd and we were back on the wave hunt and down in position at Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu by 6.20AM. Just as the sun was starting to poke up over the hill. My guests and I were pretty stoked to see some super clean lines in the chest to over hhead range and even a light off shore wind for the early risers. As it shows in the bulk of these new photos it was a fun morning at Uluwatu. At the time there were only around 20 surfers spread from the Temple section down to the top of the Racetrack. But by 9.30 – 10.00AM the troops started invading in force and the super fun waves and conditions not long afterwards turned into a crazy circus. The majority of *surfers turning up at Bali’s most powerful wave really should still be surfing the beach breaks and learning some ettiquette I think.

This morning the 3rd of June and at 6.00AM we had a 10km Northerly blowing and a mostly clear bblue sky. Wave height on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still on the downward slide with only 1-2 footers breaking on Airport Left and Middle Reef. It was around 10.00AM that wind went right around to the West and it’s still there now blowing in the 10-14kms+ range.

Weather wise the afternoon clouds are starting to group together and we now have a mainly overcast sky with the temperature on 29 degree’s Celsius at 3.00PM

The next tide today will be a 1.7mtr High at 6.30PM
