Ok so we survived another year of Christmas feasts and New Year’s eve drinks and ready to rock into the New Year. Well we weren’t quite ready yesterday the 1st. I spent most of the morning putting my back door back together after the dogs in a fireworks terror frenzy didn’t know whether they were inside or outside. I did let them sleep in side but when I crashed out and on there on the firework demons played their havoc apon them. When I woke up and saw what they did to our solid back door I felt the fear that must have been going through them, made me laugh (at the damage).

This morning the 2nd and hang over free and ready to roll out this morning at 6.30AM. But as soon as I closed the back door I saw just how black the sky was to the WSW and quietly swore. No turning back right it is what it is on baliwaves. So with the wind now WSW I made a run over to Keramas to see what the high tide delivered. Arriving to find wave height in the 2-3ft with the occasional slightly over head set wave. There was only maybe 18 surfers at 8.15AM and surfing conditions were kinda clean enough, well probably as clean as we were going to find anywhere on Bali for that matter. I didn’t hang around too long but when I left at 9.30AM there was now 30+ surfers in the water and the tide running out.

Tomorrows another day and hopefully with a new pulse of swell preditcted we’ll find some early morning waves. So stay tuned to our Twitter / Instagram feeds on our home page to see whats going down here on the island of the God’s
