Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Yesterday the 12th and like I mentioned yesterday there were some fun waves to be had where we were at until the surf schools turned up in big numbers and made a mess of things, I should say made carnage haha. But anyway you get that when it’s only head high these days. Here’s a few photos from the mornings proceedings. Kuta Reef has always been my fav wave here in Bali for the last 24+yrs.
Today the 13th and our 7.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs was pretty much showing the same size waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. But maybe just a smidgen bigger this morning and the ESE Trade wind was already starting to bring the off shore wind, unlike yesterday mornings Northerly wind direction.
Nb. Once our ESE – SE Trade wind does (every day of our DRY SEASON) it blows off shore wind from Kuta Reef to Uluwatu, every other location on Bali gets cross shore to onshore wind.
Weather wise this fine looking Saturday we have a mostly blue sky with the temp on 27C at 11.40am. Humidity level is at 64% and UV index on 6. Wind direction is coming out of the East with gusts up to 25km/h.
That’s it from us today almost time to get ready for band rehearsal. But I have also just received a solid photo gallery from our friends up in the Mentawai Islands and will get that online for ya’s ASAP. Have a great weekend and we’ll be back out there again tomorrow.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is again showing similar wave size today across Bali but with more Southerly direction and lighter wind for the morning session. So could be a good opportunity to get over to the East Coast for the morning high tide ?
