Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.

Ok so yesterday the 9th and my morning surf check on the Outer reefs (re Twitter- Morning Bali Surf n Weather Report) had 2-3ft waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport left. The ESE Trade wind was just starting to kick in at the time and the tide was just starting to run out at 7.00am. My afternoon surf check how ever was showing a new swell filling in and I watched wave height go from head high at Middle Reef to double head high before the sun went down.

Today the 10th and as it shows in our latest photo gallery we jumped in a reef taxi and headed out to Kuta Reef. We did leave our run a little late, hoping to see a reduced crowd. Or at least no surf schools with the tide already running out and head to well over head high sets double sucking over a living coral reef, but no, there were there waiting for us. There was some nice waves breaking between the mayhem but not a lot of tube rides this morning. Looking further South to Middle Reef and I would have been calling double to triple head high waves breaking.

Weather wise it’s been a mostly hot and sunny day here on the holiday island and right now at 3.5pm the temperature is still a warm 27C. Wind direction is out of the ESE with gusts up to 28km/h.

Tomorrows Surf Forecast is saying we can expect similar sized waves again but maybe dropping off a touch as the tide starts to run back out after the morning High.
