Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.

Ok so we hope you’ve been having a good weekend, even if you are not here in Bali. I do have to say we have been bathing in some very nice waves here on the “island of the God’s”. Wave height on Saturday was a very fun chest to over head high with perfect shape and even the odd barrel. As it shows in some of the “frame grabs” the weather was a bit overcast through the morning session. I didn’t get a chance to pull out the big lens and shoot stills I was busy trying to pull into barrels sorry.

This morning the 24th and we thought we’d see what was happening on “China island” seeing as though we hadn’t been over there for a couple of weeks. I thought wave height would be a nice 3-4ft+ so I took my shorty but not long after jumping out of the boat we found that it would have been a lot more comfy on my step up with some solid set waves. There was some good shaped waves still but the wind was up early light out of the South putting some chop on the face. Lot’s of paddling and duck diving under set waves for me today. Only a couple of surfers on the rights while the 2nd reef left hander had around 25 surfers on it.

Weather wise for our Sunday there was some early morning cloud about but that has mostly cleared away now at 2.15pm. Temperature wise the mercury is on 31C with the Humidity at 69% and UV index on 5. Wind direction is coming out of the SSW-SW with gusts up to 20km/h.

Tomorrows Surf Forecast is also looking promising with hopefully another bump in wave height and light early morning breeze turning more WSW by mid morning.
