BALI / INDONESIA
3rd – 4th December 2019
Hello surfers and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Well here we go again and yesterday the 3rd we managed ok and found some chest to over head high waves just after dawn as the tide was still low. But as it started to run back in the ocean went into calm mode and turned off like a tap.
Today the 4th and we were still hoping to find a little swell hanging around on the mid coast beach breaks. On arrival it wasn’t looking too bad with some clean peeling chest to head high waves and clean glassy conditions. But just like yesterday as the tide turned and started to run back in it was just too fat to ride. Clean and glassy early morning conditions before the wind switched to the SW and then back to the SSE before dedicating to the South.
Weather wise it’s been typical Bali holiday weather with the midday mercury up in the low to mid 30’s on the Celsius scale. There was a little bit of cloud around early this morning but the sun soon vaporised it I reckon.
Tomorrows Surf Forecast is calling for more of the same sized waves as we had today but with the wind predicted to be ESE – SE early and then more like SSE – S through the afternoon. Looking further out into the Indian Ocean there’s not a lot happening for our immediate surfing future, looking pretty small for almost another week. Then we should see everywhere light up with a nice moderate SW swell late on the 10th or early on the 11th. Something to look forward to right.
