Ok crew so yesterday the 8th and we didn’t do too bad at all in the way of scoring un crowded waves in the most optimum conditions possible. I didn’t shoot any photos cause I was busy trying to catch some waves sorry. But 4 waves in I popped my Leggy and had a nice swim in battling the current over rocks and sea urchins. It was a nice refresher as I havn’t had to swim in a long sleeved wettie for a long time.

Today the 9th and we knew there would be some waves and with the help of some heavy rain we also knew there wouldn’t be too many surfers on motorbikes turning up. We pulled up on location at 6.45am to find 1 surfer in the water, head high waves and clean off shore wind. As it shows in today’s gallery I just shot a little video footage and pulled some stills from that. I can pull off shooting video in shitty weather where shooting stills is not going to work.

Weather wise it’s been a real shocker of a Sunday with rain carrying through from last night right through until a massive big black front shut things down where we were at 10.00am. Right now it’s still raining and more fronts yet to fill in by the look. Temperature wise it’s around 27 degree’s Celsius and the wind fresh out of the W-WSW.
