BALI SURF & WEATHER REPORT
14th – 15th March 2020
Hello surfers (KEEP READING BELOW) and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so there was plenty of waves on offer all around Bali on the 14th. I only made it as far as the Outer Reefs here in Tuban where wave height was a fun sized 2-3ft+. Light and variable wind early, even turning SSE briefly before dedicating to the South
Yesterday the 15th and we had a huge day over with the Keramas Board riders / Keramas Surf Club for their annual club contest for 2020. Huey really turned on some pumping waves for the event with 3 to 4 footers peeling off all day. Early morning conditions had super clean and glassy waves for the the opening first round. It was around 10.00am that the wind shifted lightly to the South and not really affecting the waves.
Today the 16th and reports in from friend over on the East Coast said that they had to surf a totally empty break with waves pushing the double head high class on the bigger freak sets. I definitely know what I’ll be doing tomorrow.
Weather wise it was fine and clear and the sun had plenty of bite in it on the black sand beach of Keramas. Today we have nothing but blue sky , early morning light and variable wind and even though the wind was predicted to be more SE-ESE it is currently more SSE-S
Ok everyone stay safe and take all the precautions and hopefully you’ll be allowed to come back over to Bali and relax again soon. People are sick and dying, businesses are hurting World wide. Bali being a tourism driven island has already been affected big time with a lack of holiday makers spending money. We have no unemployment packages or health care here so spare a thought for any of your Bali friends and their families.
We have also started collecting some Luxury Villa Rentals to show the people that still want to come to Bali and enjoy the waves and weather but prefer privacy and luxury, so check out the first one we have listed in our “Latest News” section on the dot com.
We also are stoked to have Kuta Lines Surf Clothing and accessories joining us on the baliwaves, so check out their on line store and score some quality products, not made in China but here in Bali.
Stay tuned with us via our Instagram and FB pages for just that little bit extra goodness out of Indonesia.
