BALI SURF & WEATHER REPORT
25th – 26th March 2020 / Year of the Rat
Hello surfers (KEEP READING BELOW) and lovers of Bali and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (Bringing you all the good things from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok sorry to take so long to get you another surf report and photo gallery. But as ya’s all know our situation is quite different and quite scary. But anyway for more info on Bali’s Lock Down check out our Blog we have to keep everyone in the loop as best we can. You can find that here https://www.baliwaves.com/2020/03/bali-lock-down-corona-virus-march-2020/
For now seeing as though we are still in Lock Down here in Bali (since yesterday) it’s impossible for us to get out and shoot fresh photos. But this morning I did get a quick look at the Outer Reefs and I can assure you we are not missing out on anything. It was pretty much flat between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Conditions were clean and tidy at the time with the wind very light out of the NNE. Now at 4.25pm it’s gone around the ESE at around 8knot.
What I have done is had a look through an old Hard Disk (1 of 20) and just thrown some random photos up. Some of you might recognize some of the locations and some of the surfers. So when ever we can’t get out and shoot I’ll be digging back into our archives.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is saying that it’s going to get even smaller, if that is possible. Wind should still be light off shore out of the East.
Further out we should get a small pulse on the 29th before a more serious swell hits Bali on the 1st of April. Hopefully by then I will be allowed to paddle out to Kuta Reef with GoPro tucked into my vest, fingers crossed.
Our friends at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp have extended their BUY 3 DAYS AND GET 3 DAYS FREE offer through for 2020 and 2021. Contact us here for further info on this super deal
Kuta Lines have also told me that they will give anyone a 10% discount on any ONLINE purchase from their website.
Just for the record a lot of beaches around Bali are also Locked Down. The most significant being Uluwatu and most other popular locations from Green Bowls to Pandawa. Up North West Balian and Medewi are also closed to the public.
Please spare a thought for all your Balinese / Indonesian friends here in Bali, no tourism means no income and it’s been dead quite now since January..

Quite possibly, as you know most countries are ? The Euro’s brought it here in the first place mostly fleeing from their own infected countries I reckon. I’m just about to up date Lock Down Blog again now. Thanks for tuning in and keep the distance where ever you are Bro

Hey Chris, You have it back the front buddy I’m actually handing over a big wad of cash. A long time ago through baliwaves.com we raised some serious money and helped to re build a poor district primary school here in Bali. You can read about it on this link on baliwaves. I think I did about 7-8 reports and up dates in total on our achievement with the help of our viewers.
