Sorry for the delay and here is as promised the second of the 2 part G-Land Strike Mission from Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp
With both G-Land surf camp speed boat type ferry’s moored just off the beach here in Tuban we have been seeing a few different groups of cashed up surfers taking advantage of little to no crowds over at G-Land. With the sophisticated wave tracking websites available these days it just makes it so easy to get exactly what you want in regards to small, medium or big waves. I have even seen Joyo’s Surf Cam boat taking groups over for 1 day strike missions.
So if your here in Bali right now and have some friends that want to see the beauty of what the Alus Purwo National Park where G-Land is situated has on offer. Not too mention surfing un crowded perfect waves while staying in luxury air conditioned rooms, WiFi etc and all the great food you can eat at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp drop us an email and I’ll put you in direct contact with the guys at Joyo’s
My fav. left in Indo! Hope to be able to get there again soon B4 I’m too old to still take it on! First trip was in83 hellish overland road trip followed by 12 days of perfect G-Land from 4ft to 10ft & back down to 5to 6ft-unbeliveable with only 10 of us there @ a Javanese bush camp (complete with Pumas & Orangatangs)! Did several other strike missions later inthe 80’s but none were as good as that first trip for consistently pumping G-Land & lack of surfers! Cheers Slim!
Yes Greg I bet it was magical bro ! My first job in Indonesia was working for Nyoman “Bobby” Radiasa so I had great access through the 90’s. Then switched to Joyo’s for more free strike missions, then Raymond (what ever happened to Raymond ?) now back involved with Joyo’s again. Hopefully I’ll get back over there before all the Aussies start flooding back into Indo 🙂 (can’t wait for the Aussie surfers to return)
