Hello everyone, the last couple of full on cranking Uluwatu days has left me a little over loaded with photos and video and a little short on time cause it’s not over until the fat lady sings right. But I’ll just let you all know that Uluwatu has got a few faces when it comes to perfect waves, from easy going and forgiving to deadly serious and all in between. The last couple of mornings with a weak Low tide Uluwatu has been luring surfers onto the Main Peak and dealing out some heavy beatings, likewise up on Temples. But with a little more water towards midday the old girl was softening up and making up for it with some perfect tube rides for those with the skill levels to appreciate it.

Here is just a quick gallery as I’ve got to get ready for another day of perfect waves in Bali. I’ve still got (fingers crossed) a full memory card from yesterday to look at and edit. Yesterday the 21st and my main attention was down at Temples where there was some serious tube riding going down from some serious surfers. But let me make sure the photos came out first ok. Ketut was also hammering away with the video camera so hopefully we have some ok footage to back everything up with.

Weather wise it’s been hot and sunny with fresh and gusty off shore ESE wind.

Today the 22nd and wave height should be taking a short break and baking off some before our next swell makes a show on the 24th. Stay tuned to the baliwaves and I’ll put up a video surf report from where ever we end up later this morning ok.

The next tide today will be a 1.0mtr Low at 11.23am.

I’ve also been corrected on my last report regarding Virgin air and their diverting to Darwin to refuel thanks to Captain Marty. Apparently the smaller planes like 737’s can not carry enough fuel and in case of a problem at Denpasar airport they need to refuel at Darwin on late night flights as Lombok Int is also closed at that time of the night.
