Hello crew and I hope you have also checked out the latest report and photos sent through to us from our friends at the Manduna Resort on the eastern Indonesian island of Rote directly under this post.
This morning Ketut and I waited for the tide to bottom out and start to run in before heading to Uluwatu, hoping to see a bit of swell push in with it. So we never arrived until around 9.00am. Wave height between the Racetrack and all the way down to Temple’s was only in the 2-3ft class. But as the tide did start to push we did see a couple of 3-4ft sets hit the Peak. Fresh off shore wind out of the ESE slowly tending more SE by late morning. With the mediocre size waves and ever growing crowd in the water we bailed out and headed back home around 11.00am.
Weather wise it was another nice day here on the holiday island with pretty well nothing more than blue sky. The temperature is currently on 29C at 2.00pm with the Humidity at 74%. Wind direction is out of the ESE-SE at 12-15knot.
The next tide today will be a 0.4mtr Low at 8.06pm
Tomorrows Surf Forecast has the wave modals calling for similar sized waves as today with more fresh ESE-SE wind.
With that info I’ll be taking the day off, day off the camera and back into the boat to try and get some food for the family table. July has and is proving to be a bit of a struggle with last months cash going straight out to bills and debt. I will have 1 more post from G-Land to load that has just come through before the sun rises in the morning and I’m gone.
Thanks again for tuning in and all your on going support.
Tourism Heads Up, So Monday saw all the kids back in school with their end of year holidays over. Traffic has settled down in the regular area’s but still busy in the usual parts of the island, Canggu and the bukit area. Good to see the Aussies still arriving I just wish we could get a few to come and stay with us. Lot’s of construction work going on along the beach from Patra to Legian and time will soon tell what’s going on.
So book your tickets, Bali is still waiting for you and your friends to come and pitch in.
