Hi folks and yesterday the 9th we scored some very nice waves as it shows in Ketut’s photos. WE were only hoping to score some semi un crowded head high waves, and on arrival that’s how it was looking. But by the time we paddled out we were seeing some new swell arriving and the waves ranging from head to double head high. There were a few close outs but there were also some high speed 100-150yrd rides to be had. It was so good to be back out in the water surfing with some friends. Only 8 surfers on arrival but around 30 spread through the long line up by 9.00am. Conditions stayed clean and glassy with a hint on off shore wind (NW) through until 10.00am when the wind dedicated to the SW.

Weather wise there was no need for a wetty just boardies and zinc cream with blue sky pretty well all day.

This morning the 1oth and our 6.45am surf check on the Outer Reefs of South Kuta was only showing 1-3ft waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport left. The wind was light out of the West but is predicted to tend more to the South West by mid morning. Ketut took off with the camera gear
around 7.00am so I should get a heads up from him shortly and hopefully some more photos coming our way.

Weather wise outside right now at 8.10am I’m seeing pretty well just a nice blue sky with the morning temp currently on 28C, humidity is at 81%. The wind is currently West at 1-4knt.

Tomorrows Surf Forecast has wave height just backing off slightly from today, wave period will be at 12 seconds with SSW direction. The wind, I’m hoping will be light out of the WNW early before swinging more to the West then dedicating to the WSW-SW-SSW quadrants by late morning.
