Hey everyone and sorry I didn’t get a post up yesterday. As most of you know, Cancer picked a fight with me last year. I’ve been going ok and winning mostly, but yesty arvo I had a short melt down. Back on top again today, punching and kicking.
This latest photo gal is from yesterday the 16th. When we arrived at our preferred location it was all wonky and wobbly with the wind cross/on shore. But what the heck we were there so we were going to settle for below standard (Bali) waves. It was around an hour later that the sun came out and the wind glassed off to produce this stuff. Mostly Japanese surfers and guides out today but still everyone happy and friendly. I think the numbers topped at 30 all up at the peak.
Today the 17th and we were hoping there would still be a few waves breaking back there for us. We took our time this morning and had an extra hours sleep to let the tides catch up with us. There were still a couple of chest to slightly over head high waves rolling through. The wind never really glassed off but was only light out of the WSW. Still fairly low numbers in the water today.
Weather wise this morning it was blue sky all round. Right now at 4.10pm it’s still a warm old 32C, humidity is at 74%. Wind direction here in South Kuta is out of the WSW 18knt and the further you head South the stronger it’s going to be.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is showing mixed calls. So stay tuned to the baliwaves facebook page for up dates through out the morning. There should be a few around but it will be a small window.
