Keramas Surf Report – Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th July 2026
Ketut was back over at Keramas across Wednesday and Thursday and reported the swell has filled back in with solid waves in the 3 to 6 foot range. The bigger sets had a bit of size to them and were keeping surfers honest on the take off. The wind stayed offshore which held the faces clean and lining up across the reef. Crowd wise it was busy this time with around 30 surfers out and a few pros in the mix, so you had to be patient and move around to find a good one.
It started out cloudy through the early part of the mornings before the sun came through and warmed things up. As the tide began filling in the waves lined up a little nicer across the reef and the better sets kept coming through. The extra water through the middle of the day also took some of the sting out of the shallower sections over the reef. With that many surfers out it got a little competitive on the peak, but there were still plenty of waves getting through for those willing to wait. Ketut mentioned the traffic on the run home was the only real hassle, the surf itself was well worth the trip.
Weather & Tides
Right now it is sitting around 23C, cloudy early before turning sunny through the day with light offshore wind about. On the tides today we had an early low around 5:38am before the water started filling in through the morning. The next high is due around 12:03pm which helped the waves line up nicer over the reef, before easing back to a low around 6:23pm later this afternoon.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead there is a bit more size on the way. Friday is shaping up around 5 to 6 foot, with Saturday and Sunday holding steady around 5 foot and the wind staying variable. Early mornings should still be the best call before any local wind builds later in the day. Check the swell forecast for the full picture.
