Hello friends of Bali and thanks again for taking the time out to tune into the original Bali surf report website. Ok just a quick one for now as it’s been a long long day and I’ve still got a few miles to go. But anyway yesterday the 12th we were down at Uluwatu and scored some super clean and sick waves in the 2-4ft+ sector. With the tide filling in when we pulled in at 6.50am the Main Peak and Temple sections were cranking. Clean off shore wind and a mid strength crowd had smiles on everyone’s faces.
Late yesterday afternoon wave height was dropping away with only 1-2 footers breaking between Kuta reef and Airport left. So this morning we tried our luck at Canggu. Arriving at 6.55am to find clean off shore wind and 2-3ft waves breaking on all of the main sections. The tide was also running in hard and crowd levels pretty good. Surfing conditions stayed clean and tidy until the ESE Tradewind started to kick in around 10.00am and so it was time to call it a day.
Nb: I’ve never seen so many tourists (with or without dogs) in one place like today at Canggu. Great to see their local economy booming again. More good news with finally finding out that all the old warungs at Canggu that have been demolished are only being rebuilt, bigger and better. The only negative for us was the grid locked traffic we had to test our patience and humor on the way home.
Weather cloudy and grey.
Tomorrows swell forecast, getting smaller.
Ok crew, I gotta bail but should be back with plenty more for you again tomorrow.
