Bali Surf & Weather report
1st – 2nd October 2021
Hello everyone and thanks for staying in touch with your No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali through us here at baliwaves.com. It’s been a very up and down last 21 months since we haven’t had our regular native English-speaking guests and visitors from Australia / America / NZ and England due to the pandemic. Hopefully that is going to change soon the way the World vaccination programs have been running. We really want to Thank all our friends and supporters for all the help that you have given us to help get us this far, we are almost through this. Please don’t give up on us through this last leg of “containment” So if you could spare a dollar or two (every dollar makes a difference) then hit this link https://www.baliwaves.com/2020/08/baliwaves-needs-your-support/
Ok so as most of you that also follow the baliwaves on our social media platforms would know, the surf over the last week has been pretty ordinary for Bali standards. Hence, I’ve been out most days fishing trying my best to put fresh food on our and some of friends and neighbors’ tables. But yesterday the 1st as I was pushing the boat out past Kuta Reef wave height had picked up to a nice fun sized 3-4ft between Kuta Reef and Airport left. The only catch was that the wind was light on shore out of the WNW early before dedicating to the South by midday.
This morning the 2nd and as soon as I stepped out my back door to give the dogs a pat, I could smell that on shore wind. It was only light so I thought I’d duck across to the East coast and see what the local boys at Keramas were up to. As it shows in today’s photo gallery there were some very nice and clean fun sized waves in the 3-4ft plus class. Pretty much just a handful of local surfers in the water on the main break. No surfers at the old “car park” while down at KFC (webcam) there was around the same number of surfers as Keramas main break. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy even though the wind was light out of the South. Mostly sunny with some cloud patches drifting past.
The next tide today with be a 0.5 Low at 1.39pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for a slight bump in wave height. Wind direction should be light and variable before settling into the S-SSE by mid-morning.
That’s about me for today friends and hopefully it is only a matter of months before all our friends can get back here to their favorite surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok we really need to give our heartfelt deepest Thanks to everyone who has helped us continue to survive over here with no income of our own for the best part of 2 years. Hopefully we are getting through the worst of things, fingers crossed I guess because we have been saying that since day 1. Maybe 2022 will see the return of visitors to Bali with the World vaccination program making good progress. So Thanks folks for helping us get this far and not too much further to go
So please if any of our friends can spare a dollar or two or order an original baliwaves tee shirt (also now in long sleeve) you would not only be helping my family out but also others in the production sequence. https://www.baliwaves.com/2021/06/help-baliwaves-get-through-the-bali-corona-virus-cash-flow-crisis-with-a-rp90000-original-baliwaves-tee-shirt/
