I got down the beach this afternoon around 2:30pm and hung around for about an hour. There was a fairly large crew again down at D'Bah but unfortunalty the swell has backed off some more. D'Bah was breaking in the 2ft+ range with the odd head high set coming in. This morning I tried to get down the beach early and I finally managed to get through the traffic and be down at D'bah by 7am. The rain caught me out though and it rained within half an hour so I was packing up and running for cover. 8th April: I was down the beach at 6:30am and the wind was howling. Things out on the ocean were not looking as clean as yesterday but were still looking pretty good. Daylight savings has ended and the Queensland school holidays are underway. This was in part I guess a reason for the crowd in the water. There was plenty of people enjoying the waves at snapper as they peeled down the point in around the 2ft range or wasit to chest high. I was pretty busy today and it was not until the end of the day that I managed to get down to the beach and snap a few photos. Today I headed down to D'Bah about 3pm to check out what was happening while the tide was pushing back in. Conditions were pretty clean considering the howling SE wind. It was also pretty overcast and had to duck for cover during a couple of showers of rain. The waves have picked up though with some nice 2-3ft sets already here. 30th March 2008: Well the swell has backed off even more pushing all of ankle high. If you were on one of those paddle boards you might have gott a few rides but it was definetly a struggle on anything less. Today Saturday 15th March I was down at the beach having a look at conditions around 12:30pm and there was not much to report unfortunalty. Wave hieght was in the 1-2ft range at D'Bah and there was approximelty 60+ guys and girls making the most of it. One thing that is very good and thats the weather.
